Integration / Development Services Group

The Integration / Development Services Group provides application development support on a variety of platforms in a variety of languages. We develop and support the following systems:

Mainframe legacy online applications (THOMIS, personnel data, scientific medical instrumentation).
Main-frame batch systems (ICR’s, payroll, service and grant billing, the Bursar).
PC support systems (Visitor tracking, Radiology information, Student accounting, Medicine residency program).

Our group is also responsible for the integration of data between Eagle, Cerner, Copath, RIS and Pharmacy systems via HL7 messages, and between Eagle and THOMIS via a custom point-to-point interface. We also provide integration support for our local data systems with Albany's data sources.
